    What Clients Have Said

Sample of Assignments:

  • For Siemens - conducted a series of idea generation sessions, based upon a reading of technological, economic and social trends, which yielded two dozen new business concepts for their Open Enterprise Computing division. Led directly to the creation of the Internet-based subsidiary called Webwasher.com, one of the most unique and successful providers of Internet filter software in the world.

  • For Pacific Bell - conducted a series of sessions with a large project team, whose charge was to dramatically streamline administrative procedures associated with new construction initiatives. Projected cost savings from the concepts developed: $10 million.

  • For BP Amoco Polymers - trained plant's Safety Advisory Committee in the principles and skills of innovative teamwork. Their monthly meeting is considered so efficient and productive, it serves as a model for the other plants in the company.

  • For Union Carbide - facilitated sessions for process re-design in plastics manufacturing, which will save millions of dollars through waste reduction and re-use of waste material.

  • For The National Research Council (Canada) - trained groups of scientists and engineers in creative problem-solving and team building, in a culture that has been historically non-collaborative. Sessions yielded numerous ideas for increasing the perceived relevance of laboratory research to the needs of the industries they serve.

  • For Dresdner Bank AG - conducted visioning session with a group of Division Heads to generate ideas for new business opportunities in e-commerce. This yielded 7 concepts for new business enterprises with sufficient detail for implementation in the immediate future.

  • For Pacific Bell - facilitated the launch of a new subscriber-based television service using an entirely new broadcast technology, the first of its kind in the U.S. First year sign-ups far exceeded even their most optimistic projections.

  • For Bank of Ireland - worked with a project team to create new pricing and service concepts to increase the bank's presence in the lucrative import-export market between the U.S. and Europe.

  • For Helene Curtis - designed and facilitated their annual world management conference. This was highlighted by simultaneous problem-solving breakout groups, each of which delivered a set of actionable solutions for the corporate challenges on which they were working. Described by their National Sales Manager as "one of the finest meetings I've experienced."

  • For The American Hospital Association - working with their publishing arm (now called Health Forum), conducted interviews and focus groups with doctors, nurses, and hospital CEO's, followed by invention sessions to create new product concepts for sale to members and constituents. They have reported a 17% sales increase.
